My work has moved from iHub to CSIDNet to SILT, and it has kept returning to the same question: what does a collaboration need in order to keep working when the pressure is on?

Designing a program or network. Working alongside your program lead over a few months to settle the decisions that are hard to undo later, then handing the work to your team.
Reviewing a program before its next phase. Listening to the people doing the work, looking at the evidence, and facilitating the conversation about what to keep, change, or stop.
Ongoing advice for a research or program lead. Regular senior support on methods, work plans, systems, and drafts, while your lead runs the work day to day.
Research collaboration. I partner with academics, nonprofits, and community organizations on research that benefits the communities that made it possible. Particular interest in projects centered in East Africa.
Speaking. On knowledge production, research ecosystems, and organizational design. Available for conferences, workshops, and institutional events.
